I have always been a woman with weight issues and never believed that I could ever lose the weight and keep the weight off. As a 30 year old professional, I knew that I wanted a different body, but was unable to attain the body that I wanted. I have tried working with personal trainers in the past, where I have lost some weight, but was unable to achieve any permanent weight loss.
When I first met Coach Teresa, I weighed 205 lbs and had a 45 inch waist. She asked me two questions at our first meeting: (1) "What is your goal weight?" and (2) "How committed are you?" I stated that my goal weight was 180 pounds, but I had never really been able to get less than 195-200 lbs. I also answered her second question with "Sure, I am pretty committed," all the while thinking, "there is no way I will ever make it to 180 lbs even with working out and eating healthy."
A mere five months later, I weigh 179 lbs and lost over 17 inches and am still losing consistently. I went from a size 16-18 to a size 12. Her training has not only taught me about healthy eating and increased my endurance levels; It also has changed the way I feel about myself. I am more confident and determined to continue to lose weight with Coach Teresa inspiring and educating me.

"I am a 25 year old female that has always struggled with weight and self image. Even when I was young I had family telling me “you shouldn’t eat that, you need to be more active, no one is going to like you if you get any bigger.” I have always been a confident woman in my career but I have never been confident when it comes to how I look. Because my family was always on my case, I never mentally was able to commit to a weight loss regime. I tried diets and lost weight but would gain it all back or quite for one reason or another. I would work out on and off but never stay consistent.
I went to the doctor in the beginning of August and when I weighed in, it was the highest I have ever seen it, 224 pounds. I had to do something but was not even sure how to start. I lost three pounds in two days when I had my official weigh in. I had committed to a full month of working with Coach Teresa and was going to see from there where I was.
We discussed what my short term and long term goals were. First I wanted to be below 200 pounds but my ultimate goal is to be 140 pounds. At my first weigh-in I was 219 my bust was 47 ¾ inches, my waist was 40 ½ and my hips were 47 inches. My first workout was intense, I wasn’t sure what I was getting myself into but I knew that I needed to stay committed. Teresa is one of the most encouraging people I have ever worked with. She pushed me and was my advocate. She fought for me and I knew that she was really there for my success.
I committed to a diet plan that had worked for me in the past. I had Teresa look it over and she approved. With the combination of Teresa's well planed workouts and my diet, I was extremely successful. In four short weeks I lost 16 pounds, 2 ¾ inches from my bust, 5 ½ from my waist and 2 ½ inches from my hips.
After I had worked with Teresa for four weeks I decided to join a gym and continue working-out on my own. She gave me the strength and determination to change my life. I cannot believe that I was as successful as I was. Now it has been seven weeks and I have met my mini goal and then some. Teresa is still just a phone call away and I hear her in my head every time I am at the gym. She is an amazing Coach and I am so glad that I had a chance to work with her."
