Meet the Founder

Teresa Baglietto started redtangerine in 2009. She has had a great deal of passion for both fitness and health due to her own struggle with her weight in high school. She learned long ago that weight loss wasn't about fad diet's but about living a healthy lifestyle based on exercise and making healthy food choices. She knows it takes real commitment and effort to achieve that. But she also knows being armed with the right information, anyone can achieve a healthier life.
Teresa broke into the fitness industry as an aerobic's instructor during her late teens. She has been coaching, designing fitness and meal plans along with developing recipes for 300+ clients, over the past 10 years. She's been studying healthy living since she was in her 20's. Her love for exercise keeps her fit. She enjoys running outdoors, lifting weights, plyometrics, skiing, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. She has competed in several events. She came in 2nd place in her class, in her first bodybuilding competition, ran her first 1/2 marathon in Santa Cruz, CA. She's run in several 12K's: San Francisco Bay to Breakers, the Santa Cruz Wharf to Wharf and she completed her first sprint adventure race in Folsom, CA.
Over the years Teresa has overcome several major health issues, surviving breast cancer 2 times, 3 strokes and brain surgery to clip 2 brain aneurysms. Teresa faced these diagnoses with tremendous courage, drive and a positive outlook. She rose to the occasion with every health issue that came her way. Through these struggles, Teresa continued to find ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle by continuing to do what she could for exercise and through self-education and research she learned how food impacts your well-being. Healthy eating provides the necessary nutrients that your body needs to create new cells, clean toxins and prevent disease.
It is through these life changing moments that redtangerine evolved, Eating whole foods and exercising plays a huge part in feeling mentally and physically well. redtangerine's mission is to empower you with the information you need to enter into a healthier lifestyle, gain a positive outlook, and inspire to feel your best!
Teresa believes if you adopt a can do attitude, your goals will turn into reality!
